Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster Tails

Begin by thawing the lobster tails if they are frozen. Use kitchen scissors to cut the top of the shell down to the tail, then gently pull the meat out, leaving it attached at the end.

  2. 2

    Season the Lobster

Sprinkle the lobster meat with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Set aside to marinate for about 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Breading Stations

In three separate bowls, set up your breading stations: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder.

  4. 4

    Bread the Lobster Tails

Dredge each lobster tail in flour, shaking off excess, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat in the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure that the tails are well-coated.

  5. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  6. 6

    Fry the Lobster Tails

Carefully place the breaded lobster tails in the hot oil, cooking in batches if necessary. Fry for about 4-6 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the fried lobster tails hot with lemon wedges on the side.
