Prepare the Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Add Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add the edamame pods to the pot.

Steam the Edamame
Cover the pot and steam the edamame for about 5-6 minutes, or until the pods are tender.

Drain and Season
Drain the edamame in a colander and sprinkle with 1 tsp of salt while still warm.

Serve immediately as a snack or appetizer.
