Method

Turkey Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Place on a roasting rack in a roasting pan and roast for about 3 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Stuffing

  1. 2

    Make the Stuffing

In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onions, celery, and apples until soft. Stir in sage and bread cubes. Add chicken broth and mix well. Stuff the turkey with the mixture before roasting.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 3

    Prepare Mashed Potatoes

Boil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and return to pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.

Gravy

  1. 4

    Make the Gravy

After removing the turkey, pour drippings into a saucepan. Whisk in flour and cook for 2 minutes. Gradually add chicken broth, stirring until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.

Roasted Maple Carrots

  1. 5

    Roast the Carrots

Toss carrots with olive oil, maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes until tender.

Brussels Sprouts

  1. 6

    Roast the Brussels Sprouts

Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy.

Cranberry Sauce

  1. 7

    Make the Cranberry Sauce

In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil and simmer until cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10-15 minutes.
