Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate graham cracker crumbs and melted unsalted butter. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Form the Crust
Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes and then remove from the oven. Allow to cool.
- 3
Make the Cheesecake Filling
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the peanut butter, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and mix until well blended.
- 4
Add the Eggs
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 5
Bake the Cheesecake
Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes or until the center is set and only slightly wobbly.
- 6
Cool and Chill
Once baked, turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
- 7
Serve with Caramel
Before serving, drizzle with house-made caramel sauce if desired. Slice and enjoy!
