Baby Back Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption. Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Rub this spice mixture generously over the ribs, coating both sides.

  3. 3

    Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  4. 4

    Glaze with BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the ribs with BBQ sauce on both sides. Return to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 30 minutes at 350°F (175°C), basting with more BBQ sauce halfway through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
