Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Pound the pork tenderloin to about 1/2 inch thickness and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  2. 2

    Cook the Onions

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Slice the onion and sauté until translucent and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pork Steak

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and increase the heat to medium-high. Cook the seasoned pork steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place the cheddar cheese on top of the pork steak and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

Toast the burger buns lightly. Place the cheesy pork steak on the bottom half of the bun, top with the grilled onions, and cover with the top half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the pork steak sandwiches warm and enjoy!
