Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Dice the steak, bell pepper, onion, and tomato. Peel and devein the shrimp.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak and Shrimp

In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the diced steak and cook until browned. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter. Sauté the diced bell pepper, onion, and tomato until softened.

  4. 4

    Make the Omelet

In a bowl, beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Pour the eggs into the skillet over the sautéed vegetables. Cook until the edges set, then add the cooked steak, shrimp, and shredded cheddar cheese on one half of the omelet.

  5. 5

    Fold and Serve

Carefully fold the omelet over the filling and cook for another minute until the cheese melts. Serve with a generous drizzle of remoulade sauce and toasted Texas toast on the side.
