Method

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all ingredients: bread, cheddar cheese, and butter.

2

Butter the Bread

Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.

3

Assemble the Sandwich

Place one slice of bread butter-side down in a skillet. Add the slices of cheddar cheese on top, then place the second slice of bread butter-side up on top of the cheese.

4

Grill the Sandwich

Heat the skillet over medium heat. Cook the sandwich for about 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.

5

Serve

Remove the sandwich from the skillet, let it cool for a minute, then cut in half and serve.

Fries

6

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips or wedges, depending on your preference.

7

Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

8

Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the cut potatoes into the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

9

Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.

10

Serve

Serve the fries hot alongside the grilled cheese sandwich.
