Method

Chicken Tenders

1

Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1 inch wide.

2

Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

3

Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken strip first in flour, then dip it in the egg, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs. Ensure each strip is evenly coated.

4

Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

5

Fry the Chicken

Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.

6

Drain and Serve

Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

Fries

7

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide.

8

Soak the Fries

Place the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

9

Dry the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.

10

Heat Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat to 350°F (175°C).

11

Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.

12

Season and Serve

Remove fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste and serve with chicken tenders.
