Prepare Tuna Mixture
In a medium bowl, combine the canned tuna and mayonnaise. Mix well until fully incorporated.

Assemble Sandwich
On two slices of rye bread, spread the tuna mixture evenly. Top with shredded Grafton cheddar cheese, lettuce leaves, and sliced pickles. Place the remaining slices of rye bread on top.

Toast the Sandwich
In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Place the assembled sandwiches in the skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 3-4 minutes per side. Add more butter as needed.

Remove the sandwiches from the skillet, cut in half, and serve with fries on the side.
