Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the torchio pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes until bubbly. Gradually whisk in the milk, and continue whisking until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble. Stir in the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Combine with Cheese
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the shredded mozzarella and half of the grated parmesan until melted and smooth.

Combine Pasta and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the cheese sauce until the pasta is evenly coated.

Prepare for Baking
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish.

Add Toppings
Sprinkle the remaining parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the pasta mixture.

Bake the Mac & Cheese
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious baked mac & cheese!
