For the Meatballs

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake Meatballs
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through and browned.
For the Spaghetti

Cook Spaghetti
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Tomatoes and Spices
Pour in the crushed tomatoes, and add dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine and let simmer for 10 minutes.

Combine Meatballs and Sauce
Add the baked meatballs into the sauce, gently coating them. Let simmer for another 5 minutes.

Toss Spaghetti
Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and meatballs, tossing to combine well.
For the Garlic Crostini

Prepare Baguette
Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast Crostini
Place the slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 5-7 minutes until golden.

Rub Garlic
Once out of the oven, rub the cut side of the halved garlic cloves over each slice for a hint of garlic flavor.
