Burger Patty

Method

Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a small indent in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, you may add a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Once hot, place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness (internal temperature of 160°F for medium).

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Toast the Buns (Optional)

If desired, toast the country white buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Build Your Burger

Place each cooked patty on the bottom half of a bun. Add any optional toppings you desire, such as lettuce, tomato, onions, or pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
