Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.

  2. 2

    Add Wet Ingredients

Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let the Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Filling Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Filling

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 6

    Add Filling

Spread pizza sauce over the dough, then layer pepperoni slices and shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top.

  3. 7

    Roll the Dough

Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly into a log shape. Pinch the seams to seal.

  4. 8

    Cut into Rolls

Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place them on a greased baking sheet.

Baking and Topping

  1. 9

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 10

    Brush with Olive Oil

Brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese.

  3. 11

    Bake the Rolls

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. 12

    Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve warm with additional pizza sauce for dipping.
