Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat. Form into a single patty about 1 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patty and place two slices of cheddar cheese on top. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches your desired doneness.

Bacon Preparation

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the Fischer Farms bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 4

    Prepare the Bun and Toppings

While the bacon is cooking, slice the tomato and wash the lettuce leaves. Cut the country white bun in half.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun. Place the cooked beef patty with melted cheddar on top, followed by the crispy bacon, lettuce, sliced tomato, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
