Beef Patty

Cheeseburger Assembly

Method

Beef Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Use your hands to gently mix until the spices are evenly distributed throughout the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Heat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them over.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

After flipping the patties, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired level of doneness.

Assembling the Cheeseburger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are golden brown.

  2. 7

    Add Special Sauce

Spread 2 tablespoons of special sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun.

  3. 8

    Layer the Ingredients

Place a leaf of lettuce on top of the sauce, followed by a slice of tomato, a slice of onion, and finally the cooked beef patty with melted cheese.

  4. 9

    Top the Burger

Add the top half of the bun to complete the burger.
