Wings

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss until the wings are well coated.

  2. 2

    Marinate

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Smoker

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Use your choice of wood chips, such as hickory or applewood, for added flavor.

  4. 4

    Smoke the Wings

Place the marinated wings in the smoker, making sure they are not overcrowded. Smoke for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

  5. 5

    Make the Glaze

In a small saucepan, combine honey and apple cider vinegar. Heat over medium heat until it simmers, then reduce to low and let it thicken slightly.

  6. 6

    Glaze the Wings

Once the wings are done smoking, remove them from the smoker and brush them with the honey glaze.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the smoked wings hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
