Hash Eggs

Method

Hash Eggs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Eggs

In a medium bowl, crack the eggs and whisk until the yolks and whites are fully combined. Season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Eggs

Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, pour in the egg mixture. Let it cook undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes, or until the edges begin to set.

  3. 3

    Finish Cooking

Using a spatula, gently pull the edges towards the center and tilt the pan to allow uncooked egg to flow to the edges. Cook until the eggs are fully set but still soft, about another 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle chopped fresh herbs on top before serving.

Bacon & Sausage

  1. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon strips over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, flipping occasionally, until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  2. 5

    Cook the Sausage

In the same skillet, add the breakfast sausage links and cook according to package instructions, usually about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.

Toast

  1. 6

    Prepare the Toast

While the eggs and meat are cooking, toast the slices of bread to your desired doneness using a toaster or a skillet.

  2. 7

    Butter and Serve

Spread butter on the hot toast and add jam or preserves if desired. Serve alongside the hash eggs, bacon, and sausage.
