- 1
Prepare the Croissants
If using store-bought croissant dough, follow the instructions for baking. If making from scratch, roll out the dough and shape it into croissants. Allow them to rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 2
Bake the Croissants
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- 3
Make the Orange Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, orange zest, granulated sugar, butter, and a pinch of salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the butter melts and the sugar is dissolved. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 4
Glaze the Croissants
Once the croissants are slightly cool, brush the orange glaze generously over the top of each croissant. Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes before serving.
