Eggs Brown

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices. Cook the bacon for about 6-8 minutes, flipping occasionally, until it is crispy and browned. Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease.

  2. 2

    Toast the Bread

While the bacon is cooking, toast the slices of bread in a toaster until golden brown. Set aside when done.

  3. 3

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet used for the bacon, reduce the heat to low and add the unsalted butter. Allow it to melt and foam slightly. Crack the eggs into the skillet, being careful not to break the yolks. Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the eggs.

  4. 4

    Brown the Eggs

Cook the eggs for about 5-7 minutes for sunny-side-up or until the whites are fully set but the yolks remain runny. If you prefer over-easy eggs, gently flip them and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve

On a plate, arrange the crispy bacon alongside the eggs. Place the toast next to the bacon and eggs. Optionally, serve with additional butter or a side of fruit.
