Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices and cook until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Mix the Hash Brown Base

In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped chives, salt, black pepper, and eggs. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Skillet

Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Make sure the oil is hot before adding the hash brown mixture.

  4. 4

    Cook the Hash Brown Tumblers

Scoop about 1/4 cup of the hash brown mixture and form it into a small patty. Place it in the skillet, repeating with the remaining mixture. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on one side, then carefully flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes on the other side.

  5. 5

    Serve with Sour Cream

Once cooked, remove the hash brown tumblers from the skillet and place them on a serving platter. Serve warm with a side of sour cream for dipping.
