Brioche & Bun

Sautéed Pickle Peppers & Onions

Method

Braised Q Sauce

  1. 1

    Sauté the Aromatics

In a medium saucepan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 2

    Combine Ingredients

Stir in the tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and liquid smoke. Mix well to combine.

  3. 3

    Simmer the Sauce

Bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Brioche & Bun

  1. 4

    Toast the Buns

In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Place the brioche buns cut side down and toast until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Sautéed Pickle Peppers & Onions

  1. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until softened and slightly caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
