Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the hanger steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill to high heat. Place the marinated hanger steak on the grill and cook for about 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, depending on the thickness. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 130°F.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 4

    Cut the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips for fries.

  2. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.

  3. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with salt.

Sautéed Spinach Preparation

  1. 7

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 8

    Add Spinach

Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until wilted (about 2-3 minutes). Season with salt and black pepper.

Chimichurri Sauce Preparation

  1. 9

    Blend the Ingredients

In a food processor, combine the parsley, garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, red pepper flakes, and salt. Blend until the mixture is smooth but still has some texture.

  2. 10

    Rest the Sauce

Transfer the chimichurri sauce to a bowl and let it sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
