Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Shrimp
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the jumbo shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, peel and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails on for presentation.
- 2
Make the Cocktail Sauce
In a bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 3
Serve
Arrange the cooked shrimp on a serving plate and serve with a small bowl of the cocktail sauce on the side. Garnish with lemon wedges if desired.
