Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Tenderloin

Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels and season generously with salt.

  2. 2

    Crush the Peppercorns

In a spice grinder or using a mortar and pestle, crush the black peppercorns coarsely.

  3. 3

    Coat the Tenderloin

Rub the crushed peppercorns all over the pork tenderloin, pressing them into the meat.

  4. 4

    Pan-Sear the Pork

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork tenderloin and sear on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  5. 5

    Cook the Pork

Reduce heat to medium and cook until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C), approximately 15-20 minutes. Remove from skillet and let rest.

  6. 6

    Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, add butter and allow it to melt. Stir in the orange juice, brandy, and orange zest, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slice the pork tenderloin and drizzle the orange brandy butter sauce over the top before serving.
