Crispy Beef Taco

Method

Beef Enchilada

  1. 1

    Cook the Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Assemble Enchiladas

Spread a thin layer of enchilada sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Fill each tortilla with the beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheese, roll them up, and place seam side down in the dish. Top with remaining enchilada sauce and cheese.

  3. 3

    Bake

Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.

Carne Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare Carne Sauce

In a saucepan, combine beef broth, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder. Simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes until thickened.

Pulled Chicken Enchilada

  1. 5

    Cook the Chicken

In a pot, boil chicken breasts until fully cooked (about 15-20 minutes). Let cool, then shred the chicken.

  2. 6

    Assemble Enchiladas

Spread a thin layer of green tomatillo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Fill each tortilla with shredded chicken, a sprinkle of cheese, and cilantro, roll them up, and place seam side down in the dish. Top with remaining tomatillo sauce and cheese.

  3. 7

    Bake

Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.

Crispy Beef Taco

  1. 8

    Cook the Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning, cooking for another 2 minutes.

  2. 9

    Assemble Tacos

Fill each taco shell with the seasoned beef, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and a dollop of sour cream.
