Carnitas Tacos Recipe
Three Fire-grilled corn tortillas filled with melted cheese, roasted habanero salsa, roasted jalapeño peppers, pico de gallo, cilantro, avocado and fresh crema. All fire-grilled street tacos are made with soft corn tortillas, and served with black beans and rice.

Grill the Tortillas
Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Place the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side until they are soft and have grill marks. Remove and set aside.

Assemble the Tacos
On each tortilla, sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese. Top with roasted jalapeño slices, a few spoonfuls of roasted habanero salsa, and pico de gallo. Add chopped cilantro and slices of avocado on top, followed by a dollop of fresh crema.

Heat the Black Beans
In a small saucepan, heat the canned black beans over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.

Prepare the Rice
If using leftover rice, simply reheat it in a microwave or on the stove until hot. If cooking fresh rice, follow package instructions to prepare 1 cup of rice.
