Gobi Manchurian Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

1

Prepare Cauliflower

Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.

2

Make the Batter

In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and water to form a smooth batter.

3

Coat Cauliflower

Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring they are well coated.

4

Fry Cauliflower

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry the coated cauliflower florets in batches until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

5

Make the Sauce

In a separate pan, heat a little oil and sauté minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chilies until fragrant.

6

Combine Ingredients

Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, and stir well. Add the fried cauliflower and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.

7

Garnish and Serve

Finish with chopped spring onions, sesame oil, and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
