Method
Preparation of Turkey
- 1
Prepare Slow-Roasted Turkey
Slow-roast the turkey breast in a preheated oven at 325°F (165°C) for about 3 to 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Allow it to rest before pulling it apart into bite-sized pieces.
Assemble the Sandwich
- 2
Prepare the Submarine Roll
Slice the submarine rolls horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- 3
Layer the Ingredients
Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on each side of the roll. Layer the pulled turkey evenly across the bottom half of the roll.
- 4
Add Cranberry Sauce
Spoon the cranberry sauce over the turkey, spreading it evenly.
- 5
Add Stuffing
Place the handmade stuffing on top of the cranberry sauce.
- 6
Season to Taste
Sprinkle salt and pepper over the stuffing for additional flavor.
- 7
Finish the Sandwich
Close the sandwich with the top half of the roll and press down gently.
