Method
For the American Wagyu Slaw Be Jo®
Prepare the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the American Wagyu beef until browned and fully cooked, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool, then slice thinly.
Make the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Assemble the Slaw Be Jo®
Take a sub roll and layer it with a generous amount of sliced American Wagyu beef, followed by a scoop of the prepared slaw. Close the roll and repeat for the remaining rolls.
For the American Wagyu Roast Beef
Season the Roast
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture all over the American Wagyu roast, ensuring even coverage.
Sear the Roast
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the roast in the skillet and sear on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Roast in the Oven
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare. Let the roast rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
Assemble the Roast Beef Sandwiches
Slice the cooked roast thinly. Take a sub roll, add a few slices of the roast beef, and top with horseradish sauce. Close the roll and repeat for the remaining rolls.
