Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Bake the Fries

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen French fries evenly on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, paprika, and garlic powder. Toss to coat the fries evenly.

  2. 2

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the diced onions and sweet peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes until they are softened.

  2. 4

    Add Mushrooms

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and continue to sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are tender.

  3. 5

    Cook Plant-Based Beef

Stir in the plant-based ground beef into the skillet, season with black pepper to taste, and cook until it's heated through, about 5 minutes.

  4. 6

    Add Cheese

Once everything is cooked, sprinkle the white American cheese over the mixture, cover the skillet, and let it sit for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.

Assembling the Dish

  1. 7

    Top the Fries

Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them on a serving platter. Top the fries generously with the sautéed mixture of plant-based beef, vegetables, and melted cheese.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve the Impossible Fries immediately while hot, and enjoy!
