Making the Tea Base

1. Boil the Water

In a medium-sized pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.

2. Steep the Tea

Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves. Reduce the heat to low and let the tea steep for about 5 minutes.

3. Strain the Tea

After 5 minutes, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer, and let the tea cool to room temperature.

Preparing the Calpico Mixture

4. Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl or pitcher, combine 1 cup of Calpico, 3 tablespoons of peach syrup, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

5. Add Milk

Pour in 1 cup of milk to the mixture and stir until everything is well combined.

6. Combine with Tea

Once the tea has cooled, add it to the Calpico mixture and stir gently to combine.

Assembling the Drink

7. Prepare Glasses

In a tall glass, add ice cubes to your preference. If using, add 1 cup of boba pearls to the glass.
