Preparation

1. Chop Vegetables

Peel and chop the carrots, celery, onion, garlic, and potatoes into small, even-sized pieces.

2. Gather Ingredients

Measure out all ingredients, including broth, water, herbs, and optional ingredients.

3. Sauté Aromatics

In a large pot, add a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are translucent and fragrant.
