Method

Brewing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a kettle, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea Leaves

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 2 tsp of green tea leaves. Let it steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on your preference for strength.

  3. 3

    Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a teapot or directly into cups to remove the tea leaves.

Adding Flavor

  1. 4

    Add Mint and Honey

While the tea is still warm, add the fresh mint leaves and honey. Stir well to dissolve the honey completely.

  2. 5

    Incorporate Lemon Juice

Add 1 tsp of fresh lemon juice to the tea and mix gently.

Serving

  1. 6

    Garnish (Optional)

If desired, garnish each cup with a slice of lemon and an additional mint leaf for a refreshing touch.

  2. 7

    Serve Hot or Iced

Serve the Bangor Green Tea hot, or let it cool and serve over ice for a refreshing iced version.
