Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a kettle, bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add 2 tsp of green tea leaves. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes depending on your desired strength.

Strain Tea
After steeping, strain the tea leaves from the brewed tea into a cup.
Adding Flavor

Sweeten the Tea
Add 1 tablespoon of honey to the strained tea while it is still warm and stir until fully dissolved.

Add Lemon Juice
Stir in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice for a zesty flavor.

Add Mint Leaves
Gently muddle 5 fresh mint leaves in the cup to release their oils and enhance the flavor.
Garnishing the Drink

If desired, add a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint to the top of the drink for presentation.
