Preparation

    Melt the Chocolate and Butter

    In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and butter. Place the bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler) and stir until melted and smooth.

    Combine with Sugar

    Remove the bowl from the heat. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar until well combined.

    Add Flavorings

    Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, mixing until fully incorporated.

Setting the Chocolate

    Prepare the Mold

    Line a rectangular dish or chocolate mold with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Pour the Mixture

    Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the prepared mold, smoothing the top with a spatula.

    Add Toppings

    If using, sprinkle chopped nuts and dried fruits over the top of the chocolate mixture.

    Chill

    Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours or until firm.

    Once set, remove the chocolate from the mold and slice it into squares or bars. Serve and enjoy your Swiss chocolate!
