Main Ingredient

Method

Preparation of Lemon Herb Butter

  1. 1

    Make the Lemon Herb Butter

In a small bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined. Set aside.

Cooking Salmon

  1. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C). Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels, and season both sides with Black Hawaiian sea salt.

  2. 3

    Cook the Salmon

Place the salmon fillet skin-side down on the grill or in a baking dish if using the oven. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  3. 4

    Add Lemon Herb Butter

During the last minute of cooking, spread the prepared lemon herb butter generously over the top of the salmon. Allow it to melt and infuse the salmon with flavor.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Salmon

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill or oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve warm, garnished with additional fresh parsley if desired.
