Espresso Base

Milk Froth

Method

Prepare the Espresso

  1. 1

    Brew the Espresso

Use an espresso machine to brew 2 shots of espresso. Pour the espresso into a large mug.

  2. 2

    Add Maple Syrup

Stir in 1 tablespoon of maple syrup into the brewed espresso until fully dissolved.

Froth the Milk

  1. 3

    Prepare the Rosemary

Take a fresh sprig of rosemary and gently bruise it by tapping it with the back of a spoon to release the oils.

  2. 4

    Steam the Milk

In a small saucepan or using a milk steamer, heat 1 cup of milk until it is hot but not boiling. Add the bruised rosemary sprig to the milk as it heats to infuse the flavor.

  3. 5

    Froth the Milk

Once the milk is heated, use a frother or whisk to froth the milk until it is creamy and has a good amount of foam.

Combine and Serve

  1. 6

    Assemble the Latte

Remove the rosemary sprig from the milk and slowly pour the frothed milk into the mug containing the espresso and maple syrup mixture.

  2. 7

    Garnish (optional)

For an aromatic touch, garnish with a small sprig of fresh rosemary on top of the frothed milk.

  3. 8

    Enjoy!

Your Rosemary Latte is now ready. Stir lightly before sipping and enjoy the delightful flavors.
