Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Romaine

Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly, remove any wilted leaves, and chop it into bite-sized pieces. Place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Tomatoes and Onions

Halve the cherry tomatoes and thinly slice the red onion. Add both to the bowl with the romaine.

  3. 3

    Incorporate Olives and Feta

Pit and slice the Kalamata olives, then add them to the salad bowl along with crumbled feta cheese.

Crostini Preparation

  1. 4

    Slice the Baguette

Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

  2. 5

    Toast the Crostini

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush both sides lightly with olive oil, and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crisp.

Dressing and Assembly

  1. 6

    Add Dressing

Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to combine, ensuring all ingredients are well coated.

  2. 7

    Finish with Parmesan

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the salad.

  3. 8

    Serve with Crostini

Serve the Mediterranean Caesar salad with the toasted crostini on the side, allowing guests to enjoy them together.
