Method
Prepare the Ravioli
- 1
Cook the Ravioli
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the three cheese ravioli and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes until they float. Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Vegetables
- 2
Sauté Asparagus and Mushrooms
In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus pieces and sauté for about 3 minutes until they start to soften. Add the sliced wild mushrooms and continue cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes until both are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve
- 3
Mix with Alfredo Sauce
Reduce heat to low, and pour in the Alfredo sauce. Stir gently to combine the vegetables with the sauce. Add the cooked ravioli to the skillet and toss gently to coat.
- 4
Prepare Breadcrumb Topping
In a separate bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle this mixture over the ravioli in the skillet.
- 5
Finish the Dish
Turn on the broiler in your oven. Transfer the skillet to the oven and broil for 2-3 minutes until the topping is golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
