1. Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the Wagyu beef into thin strips, chop the onion, mince the garlic, and slice the mushrooms.

2. Cook the Noodles

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

3. Sear the Beef

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the sliced Wagyu beef and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

4. Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and butter. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are tender.

5. Make the Sauce

Sprinkle the flour over the mushroom mixture and stir to combine. Gradually add the beef broth while stirring. Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.

6. Combine Everything

Lower the heat and return the seared Wagyu beef to the skillet. Stir in the sour cream, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
