Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, stirring frequently, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  3. 3

    Add Garlic

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

  4. 4

    Mix in Sauces and Seasonings

Add the tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, black pepper, and brown sugar. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

  5. 5

    Simmer

Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. This allows the flavors to meld together.

  6. 6

    Prepare the Buns

While the mixture simmers, slice the hamburger buns in half and toast them lightly if desired.

  7. 7

    Assemble the Sloppy

Spoon the sloppy mixture onto the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
