Method

Prepare the Sauce

  1. 1

    Cook the Garlic

In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

  2. 2

    Add Tomatoes and Spices

Add the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to the saucepan. Stir to combine.

  3. 3

    Simmer the Sauce

Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

Prepare the Cheese Blend

  1. 4

    Mix the Cheese

In a bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well and set aside.

Assemble the Pep Pep

  1. 5

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).

  2. 6

    Spread the Sauce

Spread a generous amount of the prepared red sauce over your pizza base or in a baking dish.

  3. 7

    Add Cheese Blend

Sprinkle the cheese blend evenly over the sauce.

  4. 8

    Top with Pepperoni

Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese layer.

  5. 9

    Bake

Place the assembled pizza or dish in the preheated oven. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.
