Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in ice water gradually until the dough comes together. Form into a ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Roll Out the Dough

After chilling, preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). On a floured surface, roll out the dough to fit a 9-inch pie dish. Transfer the dough to the dish, trim excess, and prick the bottom with a fork.

Filling Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Cheese Blend

In a mixing bowl, combine mozzarella, Parmesan, and feta cheese. Mix well to ensure an even distribution of flavors.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Toppings

Slice the banana peppers and thinly slice the white onion. Mince the roasted garlic cloves and set aside.

Assembly and Baking

  1. 5

    Assemble the Pie

Spread the cheese blend evenly over the crust. Top with sliced banana peppers, minced roasted garlic, and sliced white onion.

  2. 6

    Bake the Pie

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.

  3. 7

    Drizzle with Aioli

Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Drizzle garlic aioli over the top before slicing and serving.
