Preparation Directions

   Cook the Hot Dogs

   In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add the hot dog sausages and cook for 5-7 minutes until heated through. Alternatively, you can grill or pan-fry the sausages until browned.

   Prepare the Buns

   While the hot dogs are cooking, split the hot dog buns open without cutting all the way through. If desired, lightly toast the buns on a grill or in the oven for a few minutes.

   Assemble the Hot Dogs

   Once the sausages are cooked, place each sausage into a bun. Add mustard, ketchup, relish, and chopped onions on top. If using, sprinkle shredded cheese over the hot dogs.

   Serve

   Serve the hot dogs immediately while they are warm. Enjoy with additional condiments on the side if desired.
