Method

Prepare the Salad Base

  1. 1

    Wash and Tear Lettuce

Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water, then dry it thoroughly. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Cherry Tomatoes

Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the bowl with the romaine lettuce.

  3. 3

    Add Parmesan

Sprinkle the shaved parmesan cheese over the salad base.

Make Garlic Croutons

  1. 4

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 5

    Prepare Bread

Cut the baguette or French bread into small cubes, about 1-inch in size.

  3. 6

    Season the Croutons

In a large bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated.

  4. 7

    Bake the Croutons

Spread the bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy, stirring halfway through.

Prepare Caesar Dressing

  1. 8

    Combine Ingredients

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic until smooth.

  2. 9

    Season the Dressing

Add salt and pepper to taste, adjusting the quantities based on your preference.

Assemble the Salad

  1. 10

    Toss the Salad

Drizzle the prepared Caesar dressing over the salad base and toss gently to combine, ensuring the lettuce and tomatoes are evenly coated.

  2. 11

    Add Croutons

Sprinkle the garlic croutons on top of the salad just before serving for added crunch.
