Pasta

Method

Cooking Pasta

1

Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt.

2

Cook Pasta

Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. This usually takes about 8-10 minutes.

3

Drain and Set Aside

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside while you prepare the vegetables.

Preparing Vegetables

4

Chop Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

5

Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

6

Add Chopped Vegetables

Add the chopped vegetables (bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, and broccoli) to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

7

Add Cherry Tomatoes

Add the cherry tomatoes and fresh basil to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until tomatoes are slightly softened.

Combining Ingredients

8

Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together to combine.

9

Season and Serve

Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve warm topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
