Method

Mango Mojito Preparation

1

Prepare the Mango

Peel and dice the fresh mango into small cubes. Measure out 1 cup of diced mango and set aside.

2

Muddle the Mint

In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add the fresh mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press and twist the leaves to release their oils and aroma.

3

Mix in Lime Juice

Add the freshly squeezed lime juice to the muddled mint. This will enhance the flavor of the mint and prepare it for mixing.

4

Add Simple Syrup

Pour in the simple syrup to the mint-lime mixture to add sweetness. Stir gently to combine.

5

Combine with Mango

Add the diced mango to the mint-lime-syrup mixture and muddle gently to break down the mango slightly while incorporating the flavors.

6

Add Ice

Fill the glass or shaker with ice cubes to chill the cocktail effectively.

7

Top with Club Soda

Pour the club soda over the ice and mango mixture, filling the glass. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

8

Garnish and Serve

Garnish the mojito with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately with a straw if desired.
