Prepare the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the sourdough bread into bite-sized cubes. Spread the cubes on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, tossing halfway through.

Make the Dressing
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, chopped anchovy fillets, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and olive oil. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Prepare the Salad
Chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. In a large bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, shaved parmesan cheese, and croutons. Toss to mix.

Serve
Serve the salad in individual bowls with the dressing on the side.
