Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and form into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half. You can toast them on the grill or in a toaster for added flavor.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese. Add slices of tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard to taste. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately with your choice of sides, like fries or a salad.
